The Hartford Hurricanes is a youth program serving inner-city youth ages 5 to 15 doing youth football, cheerleading, health and wellness, violence prevention. The Hartford Hurricanes mandate a 70% GPA in school for participation from all youth. The Hartford Hurricanes currently serves approximately 100 + youths in the City of Hartford and greater Hartford community. The Hurricanes does not discriminate based on race, color, creed or religion. We provide additional breakfast, lunch, and dinner for all youth that attend our National Tournament which is currently located at Universal Orlando in Florida. The last site floated by National Pop Warner is Jacksonville Florida. The event is for 7 days. Our program site varies from practice to games to event due to city regulations. We operate mainly at Annie Fisher School. Our program has revamped to provide additional training services for our youth, introduce a new flag football season, and prepare to play a spring 2021 football season.
